Chief Executive Officer

John R. Urciuoli is the company's founder and CEO. He started Syracuse Time & Alarm Co., Inc. in 1981 in Camillus, NY. The company quickly grew and moved to their first location in Warners where they expanded to 8 employees. Within 6 years they outgrew this location and moved operations to Dewitt. Growth continued and the company purchased the current headquarters location on Burnet Ave in Syracuse.

The company currently has over 45 employees with 3 locations supporting the Commercial, Industrial, Health Care, Governmental, & Educational Markets throughout Upstate New York and Central New York.

William P. Dibble
William P. Dibble

William Dibble graduated from Baldwinsville Central Schools in 1982. In November of 1982 he started with Syracuse Time & Alarm Co., Inc. as a technician and later became the service manager in 1987. In 1996 he received his certification in Fire Alarm Systems NICET Level III.

In 1999 he became Director of Corporate. In this capacity he proceeded to define many of the company’s processes in developing proprietary software.

He is currently the President of the company and continues to develop software and manage our daily operations.

Executive Vice President

John A. Urciuoli was seven years old when Syracuse Time & Alarm Co., Inc. was started by his father. In high school, he worked with the technicians, learning the trade. He graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Consumer Economics and Fine Arts and then spent two years studying abroad in Hungary and Italy.

John started back with the company in 1999 and is now the company's Executive Vice President as well as taking charge of the H/R department.

Mark Simpson

Corporate Secretary

Mark Simpson is a graduate of Argyle High School, 1982, and attended SUNY Potsdam 1982-1986; Physics Major. Out of college, Mark worked as an electrician for 1 ½ years, when he was brought over to Syracuse Time & Alarm Co., Inc. as they were looking for an installer to assist in small projects. In his spare time, John Urciuoli worked with him to assist him in Fire Alarm and Security System Sales and Design. The company grew over the next few years and he moved over to sales full time. Through the next 8-10 years he managed Fire Alarm System Sales. Since 2005, he oversees all aspects of the sales team to which we currently employ 14 within Sales, Sales Support and Project Management. He has several certifications, most notably NICET Level IV Fire Protection Engineering and is the company's Executive Secretary.
