Inside Technical Support Engineer

Job Description:

You will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our clients and field service engineers; while working closely with our team to resolve complex issues, provide expert guidance, and ensure that our systems are operating at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front line technical support for fire alarm systems, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and issue resolution.
  • Assist field service engineers with complex technical problems.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to clients, ensuring their fire alarm systems are fully operational.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement system improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire alarm systems and industry standards.
  • Document all support activities and provide detailed reports as necessary.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in fire alarm systems, with a strong technical background.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience with a variety of fire alarm systems and control panels.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET) are a plus.
